Job summary

Kaiser Permanente in Culver City/Los Angeles area seeks a Behavioral Health professional to provide chemical dependency services and psychotherapy to adults, adolescents, families, and others under supervision. The role includes triage calls, assessments, intake, and treatment planning.

Responsibilities cover group and individual counseling, family therapy, case management, and education lectures. Requires two years post graduate addiction medicine experience and CA licensure eligibility.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology or other field related to behavioral health.
• Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (California) OR Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (California) OR Licensed Clinical Social Worker (California).

Responsibilities

• Answers and triages patient calls for information, Tx services, general CD advice.
• Provides higher level assessment including MH diagnoses and crisis evaluations.
• Performs intake and psychosocial assessments.
• Develops and presents treatment plans for team review.
• Participates in clinical case conferences.
• Conducts educational lectures on chemical dependency.
• Provides individual and group counseling for CD.
• Provides Adolescent, Significant Other, Family and Multi-Family therapy as assigned.
• Case management and referral coordination.
