Location: Lawton, OK
Schedule: Night Shift – 6:45 p.m. to 7:15 a.m.

Overview

Join a well-established clinical setting as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), providing essential non-professional nursing care and outreach services in a correctional facility environment. This role offers a meaningful opportunity to support patient well-being through direct patient care and vital communication with medical teams, all while working in a structured healthcare setting.

Responsibilities
  • Take vital signs and assist with activities of daily living, including hygiene needs
  • Obtain lab specimens and document observations accurately in patient charts
  • Escort patients within the facility and help maintain a safe, clean environment
  • Assist with ordering and receiving supplies, ensuring proper storage and inventory
  • Participate in follow-up activities, patient tracking, and scheduling appointments
  • Provide outreach services and support case finding for at-risk populations
  • Report pertinent changes in patient condition to supervising medical staff
  • Perform delegated or specialized functions as trained and educationally prepared
Required Skills
  • Ability to perform direct patient care tasks, including vital signs and specimen collection
  • Basic clerical skills and attention to detail for charting and documentation

Additional Skills & Requirements

  • One year of relevant experience in patient care is required
  • Completion of online training modules prior to assignment, with documentation provided to the facility nurse manager
  • Schedule flexibility for a duration of 6-12 months, with the possibility of extension up to 12 months
