RWJBarnabas Health in Somerville, NJ is hiring a part-time Clinical Care Technician in the RDU-Emergency Dept. You will work under the RN to provide patient care on the unit, including vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy, and bedside assistance.

Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent; BLS via American Heart Association. Prior patient care experience preferred. Evening shift, 20 hours per week, every other weekend and rotating holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• BLS through American Heart Association is required.

Responsabilités

• Take vital signs and perform EKGs.
• Perform phlebotomy and assist with bedside care (bathing, mouth care, skin care).
• Work under RN supervision to provide patient care on the unit.

Job Overview

In this role, you will work under the direction of the RN to provide care to the patients on the unit. Some of the responsibilities include but are not limited to: Taking vital signs, EKGS, performing phlebotomy, assisting or providing patients with bedside care, i.e. bathing, mouth care, skin care.

Required

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• BLS required through American Heart Association

Preferred

• Prior experience in patient care preferred
• Ability to communicate and collaborate with others effectively
• Effective verbal and written communication skills

Certifications and Licenses Required

• AHA BLS

Schedule

• Part Time Evening
• 20 hours a week, Every other weekend and rotating holidays required.
