Job Overview:

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a dedicated Clinical Care Technician for Community Medical Center, a 592-bed, fully accredited acute care hospital offering world-class medical treatment with hometown care. Since opening in 1961, CMC has become a leading teaching hospital with four residency programs and the largest healthcare facility in Ocean County, serving over 21,500 inpatients, 178,000 outpatients, and 73,700 emergency patients annually.

Qualifications:
Required:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • BLS certification (American Heart Association)
Preferred:
  • Previous nursing assistant or clinical experience from an accredited nursing program
  • Certified nursing assistant certification
Scheduling Requirements:
  • Night Shift, 24 hours per week, 6 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.
Essential Functions:
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living and provide nursing care, including phlebotomy and EKGs
  • Provide patient care appropriate to the patient's age, ensuring safety and effective outcomes
  • Maintain ongoing communication with patients and nursing staff regarding patient care
  • Participate in planning patient care from admission to discharge for safe transitions
