Job Overview:

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Clinical Care Technician for Community Medical Center.

Community Medical Center, a 592-bed, fully accredited acute care hospital, offers world-class medical treatment with hometown care. Opened in 1961, CMC has evolved into New Jersey's newest teaching hospital with four residency programs, serving over 21,500 inpatients, 178,000 outpatients, and 73,700 emergency patients annually.

Qualifications:
Required:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • BLS certification (American Heart Association)
Preferred:
  • Previous nursing assistant or clinical experience from an accredited nursing program
  • Certified nursing assistant certification
Scheduling Requirements:
  • Day Shift, 24 hours per week, 6:00 am - 6:30 pm
Essential Functions:
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living and provide nursing care, including phlebotomy and EKGs
  • Provide patient care tailored to age and needs, ensuring safety and effective outcomes
  • Maintain ongoing communication with patients and nursing staff regarding patient care
  • Participate in planning patient care from admission to discharge for safe transitions
