You will document in the EHR and uphold infection control while collaborating with the care team to deliver compassionate patient experiences. Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED and a current AHA BLS certification; CNA or clinical nursing program experience

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; BLS certification required.
• Preferred CNA certificate or nursing assistant clinical experience.
• Experience supporting RNs and providing hands-on patient care is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs and monitor patient health status.
• Perform EKGs and phlebotomy as needed; assist with bedside care.
• Document patient information in the EHR with strict confidentiality.
• Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment.
• Communicate with patients, families, and providers to coordinate care plans.
• Assist with emergency response using Basic Life Support (BLS) in acute situations.
• Support care plans from admission to discharge to ensure safe transitions.

As a Clinical Care Technician (CCT), a typical day may include:

• Assisting patients with activities of daily living and providing nursing care to patients including taking vital signs, EKGS,performing phlebotomy, assisting with bedside care, i.e. bathing, mouth care, skin care.
• Monitor vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature to track patient health status
• Document patient information accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems while maintaining strict confidentiality
• Implement infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff, adhering to facility policies
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to coordinate care plans and address concerns
• Support emergency response efforts by applying Basic Life Support (BLS) skills such as CPR when needed in acute situations
• Providing patient care, based on physical, education, safety, and related criteria, appropriate to the age of the patients
• Providing for effective and safe patient outcomes through practice, judgment and critical actions
• Ongoing communication with patients and nursing colleagues regarding status of patient’s care
• Participating in collaboration of our patient's plan of care from admission to discharge to ensure safe transitioning

To be considered for this CCT opportunity, you must have a High School Diploma / GED and a current American Heart Association BLS certification. Previous nursing assistant experience or clinical experience from an accredited nursing program is preferred or a CNA certificate. Includes some holidays.
