Job description

Job Overview:

The Clinical Care Technician functions under the direct supervision of a professional nurse. They perform specific duties and are considered an integral part of the nursing team. They assist nurses by gathering information and observing patients' conditions. Under the direction of the RN, they provide care to patients on the unit, including but not limited to: taking vital signs, performing EKGs, phlebotomy, and assisting with bedside care such as bathing, mouth care, and skin care.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • High School Diploma
  • BLS Certification through the American Heart Association
  • Enrollment in a Nursing Program, current EMT certification, Medical Assistant Certification, Phlebotomist Certification, EKG Tech, or equivalent
Certifications and Licenses:
  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association
Scheduling Requirements:
  • Days, 7am-3pm
  • Schedule may vary depending on department needs
  • Per-Diem
  • Mandatory Orientation

Pay Range:

$20.00 to $25.00 Hourly Rate
