Job description

Job Overview:

In this role, you will work under the direction of the RN to provide care to the patients on the unit. Some of the responsibilities include but are not limited to: taking vital signs, EKGs, performing phlebotomy, assisting or providing patients with bedside care, i.e., bathing, mouth care, skin care. Every other weekend and holiday required.

Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • BLS required through American Heart Association

Preferred:

  • Prior experience in patient care preferred
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with others effectively
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

Certifications and Licenses Required:

  • AHA BLS
