Job description

Job Overview

In this role, you will work under the direction of the RN to provide care to patients on the unit. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: taking vital signs, performing EKGs, performing phlebotomy, and assisting with bedside care such as bathing, mouth care, and skin care. Every other weekend and holiday work is required.

Required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association

Preferred:

• Prior experience in patient care
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Certifications and Licenses Required:

• AHA BLS
