Job summary

Clinical Care Technician (CCT) opportunity at RWJBarnabas Health within Community Medical Center's Post Intensive Care- III department. The position supports RNs with vital signs, mobility, and personal care, while documenting in the EHR and upholding infection control standards.

A high school diploma or GED and BLS certification are required; CNA experience is preferred. Day shift, 36 hours per week, and a competitive hourly rate apply in NJ.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• Previous nursing assistant experience or CNA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living and provide nursing care, including vital signs, EKGs, and phlebotomy.
• Monitor and document vital signs and patient status in the EHR.
• Maintain infection control practices and ensure a safe patient environment.
• Communicate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care plans.
• Provide bedside care such as bathing, mouth care, and skin care; support RNs in care plans.
• Apply Basic Life Support (BLS) skills in emergency situations.
• Support transitions of care from admission to discharge.
