Job summary

Fairlane Senior Care & Rehab is seeking a Unit Manager to coordinate clinical care for an assigned unit within a 24-hour operation. You will empower staff, conduct rounds, and ensure quality care leveraging the latest technology as part of a strong interdisciplinary team.

You must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with at least 2 years of related experience and hold an MN RN license (Michigan) with CPR.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with at least 2 years of related experience.
• Current Nursing (RN) State of Michigan License; CPR certification.
• Strong analytical abilities to assess needs and implement care within a quality-focused, interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the nursing team, provide direction and assignments, and contribute to evaluations.
• Conduct regular rounds with patients and staff to monitor performance and care.
• Instruct the team on skilled care processes and serve as a clinical resource.

How You Will Help People Every Day

• You will supervise the nursing team including giving direction & assignments, offering training, and contribute to recognition and evaluations.
• You will conduct regular rounds with patients and staff to monitor performance and care.
• You will instruct the team regarding the skilled care process and function as a resource person for clinical issues
• You will ensure the completion of requested reports, i.e., infection control, pharmacy compliance, quality management, etc.

What you will need to be part of our EPIC team

• Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing, with at least 2 years of related experience.
• Current Nursing (RN) State of Michigan License; current CPR certification.
• A high level of analytical abilities in order to prepare personalized care plans, implement effective nursing care and rehabilitation, and develop solutions to difficult problems concerning well-being.
