Job summary

Access Medical Clinic is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support nurses and providers, prepare charts, and manage routine testing and lab reports. You will assist with patient intake, vital signs, phlebotomy, vaccinations, and basic medical office duties while ensuring HIPAA compliance and confidentiality.

The role includes EMR usage, coordination of referrals, and outreach support to enhance clinic enrollment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; CMA certification preferred.
• BLS certification upon hire and kept current.
• Ability to make independent decisions when warranted and provide excellent patient service.
• Able to travel within assigned region regularly; valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for patient visits by pulling charts/notes and setting up equipment.
• Monitor and record vital signs and medical history.
• Perform phlebotomy procedures and assist with minor procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccinations as directed; assist with patient care.
• Handle referral and prior authorization processes; communicate test results.
