Job summary

Responsibilities

• Interviews patients, obtains vital signs (pulse, temperature, blood pressure, weight, height) and records information.
• Coordinates patient flow, schedules appointments, procedures, tests and referrals.
• Triages phone calls and calls in non-narcotic prescriptions as directed.
• Assists with regulatory and compliance needs of the clinic.
• Assists physician with minor procedures and handling of specimens and cultures.
• Maintains infection control standards and HIPAA-compliant documentation.
