Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX invites applications for a full-time Assistant/Associate Professor of Cardiology. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive cardiovascular care across Baylor Cardiology Clinic, Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center and affiliated locations.

The role includes non-invasive imaging interpretation, inpatient and outpatient care, and teaching of trainees. Academic rank will reflect qualifications and experience.

Qualifications

• MD, DO, or foreign equivalent.
• Unrestricted Texas medical license.
• ABIM board certification or board eligibility in Cardiovascular Disease.
• Level II training in Adult Echocardiography with NBE status or ASCeXAM.
• Level II training in Nuclear Cardiology; certification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Interpretation of cardiovascular imaging studies (incl. echocardiograms).
• Outpatient clinical care and inpatient cardiology responsibilities.
• Teaching of trainees.
• Inpatient cardiovascular service activities and rounding as needed.
• Contribute to program development, quality initiatives, and educational activities.
