Job summary

MaineHealth Cardiology in Rockport is seeking a full-time clinical cardiologist (non-interventional) to join a collaborative team, with outreach to our Belfast clinic. The practice includes 3 APPs and full support staff to enable efficient patient care.

The role provides comprehensive cardiac testing (stress testing, monitoring, nuclear imaging, echocardiography, MRI) with TEEs and cardioversions, plus in-office loop recorder implantation and monthly EP/hf outreach via telehealth.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certification or Board Eligible.
• Ability to provide non-interventional cardiology services.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive cardiac testing, including stress testing, monitoring, nuclear imaging, echocardiography and MRI.
• Offer procedures such as TEEs and cardioversions.
• In-office implantation of loop recorders; telehealth outreach by EP subspecialist and HF outreach.

MaineHealth Cardiology is seeking a full-time clinical cardiologist (non-interventional) for their Rockport practice. This position also provides outreach to our clinic in Belfast.

Practice Details

• Join a collaborative team of4 cardiologistswho equallyshare call weeks.
• A care team model with 3 APPs along with full clinical and administrative support staff.
• Full clinic days see 17 patients.
• Separate dedicated graphics reading time.
• Provide comprehensive cardiac testing services, including stress testing, cardiac monitoring, nuclear, echocardiography, and MRI.
• Procedures offered include TEEs and cardioversions.
• Visiting Electrophysiology sub-specialist in office 1-2 days a month, Advanced Heart Failure outreach once a month via telehealth.
• In-office implantation of loop recorders

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certification/Board Eligible.

The annual base salary for this position is $620,000.
