MaineHealth Cardiology is seeking a full-time clinical cardiologist (non-interventional) for a Biddeford-based practice with inpatient duties at Maine Medical Center and outpatient activity centered in our Scarborough ambulatory center.

The role includes leadership in education and research, teaching Maine Medical Center Cardiology Fellows and medical students, and an academic appointment at Tufts University School of Medicine, within a team of over 50 cardiologists.

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification or board eligibility required.

CLINICAL CARDIOLOGY OPPORTUNITY

MaineHealth Cardiology is seeking a full-time clinical cardiologist (non-interventional) for their Biddeford-based practice with inpatient duties at Maine Medical Center and outpatient activity centered in our Scarborough ambulatory center.

Position Overview

• Opportunities for leadership roles in education and research for the appropriate applicant.
• Selected candidates will join a team of over 50 cardiologists who provide inpatient, outpatient and consultative services.
• A growing practice with office locations in Augusta, Waterville, Lewiston, Rockport, and Scarborough, and a nationally recognized inpatient cardiovascular service line at Maine Medical Center which serves as the hub for the extended MaineHealth network.
• Providing patients across the state with the highest quality cardiac care, working closely with other regional hospitals to build a coordinated network of cardiology services.
• Direct teaching role with Maine Medical Center’s Cardiology Fellows, as well as teaching and mentoring medical students from the Maine Medical Center‑Tufts University School of Medicine Medical School Program.
• Academic appointment at Tufts University School of Medicine.
• Team-based care model with collaborative approach to care.
