Job Description:The Cardiovascular Institute and the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine in the Department of Medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) are seeking candidates for a full-time faculty position in clinical cardio-oncology to develop a varied consultative practice within a growing and dynamic academic Division. All applicants must be board certified or eligible in Cardiology, as well as eligible for Commonwealth of Massachusetts medical licensure. Level 3 training in echocardiography is preferred.Responsibilities will include outpatient consultations on the main campus of BIDMC/DFCI and one of its nearby community sites, as well as attending on the cardiology inpatient and/or consult services. Applicants are expected to be actively engaged in teaching fellows, residents, medical students and nurse practitioners -in-training. Actual compensation within this range may be determined based on several factors, including academic appointment, work experience, specialty training, geography of work location, anticipated productivity, FTE basis, and role expectations.
