Job Description:The Cardiovascular Institute and the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine in the Department of Medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) is seeking candidates for a full-time academic faculty position in Interventional Cardiology to develop a consultative outpatient and procedural practice.The candidate must be trained in structural heart interventions and will serve as a clinical member of the structural heart section and will be expected to perform the full range of standard structural heart procedures. The applicant is expected to be actively engaged in research as well as the teaching of fellows, residents and medical students. All applicants must be board certified or eligible in Cardiology and Interventional cardiology, as well as have or be eligible for Commonwealth of Massachusetts medical licensure.Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, a 743-bed hospital and Level 1 Trauma Center, is a founding member of Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH). Actual compensation within this range may be determined based on several factors, including academic appointment, work experience, specialty training, geography of work location, anticipated productivity, FTE basis, and role expectations.
