Job summary

Hartford HealthCare Medical Group in Norwich, CT seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (APRN/PA) for Electrophysiology to deliver outpatient cardiology care and manage implantable devices. The role supports a busy EP program, with patient education and post-intervention follow-up essential to care continuity.

Applicants should have EP/cardiac device experience, CT licensure eligibility, and a commitment to high-quality, evidence-based treatment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Master’s Program.
• Licensed, or eligible to be licensed, as a PA-C, FNP, or AGPCNP in Connecticut.
• Electrophysiology / Cardiac device experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient care for adult cardiology patients in an electrophysiology program.
• Manage cardiac implantable devices including pacemakers, defibrillators and loop recorders in an outpatient setting.
• Evaluate pre- and post-intervention patients including education, clinical evaluation and medication management.
• Support EP program with arrhythmia management knowledge and anticoagulation considerations.

Nurse Practitioner (APRN) / Physician Assistant - Electrophysiology Role Scope

• APRN/PA provides comprehensive care for adult cardiology patients in an outpatient setting and to support a busy Electrophysiology program
• Management of cardiac implantable devices including pacemakers, defibrillators and loop recorders in an outpatient setting
• Evaluation of patients pre and post intervention including patient education, clinical evaluation, medication management in the office and message triage
• Electrophysiology background preferred with experience providing comprehensive management of patients with arrhythmias, knowledge of anti-arrhythmic and anticoagulation drug therapy

Shift: Full Time –Exempt- 40 hours –Monday through Friday

Travel: Travel to Norwich, Branford, Wallingford

Qualifications
