Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor in CAD with required work hours documented.
• Postsecondary Occupational Specialist Certification or eligibility.
• Strong written and oral communication abilities.
• Proficiency in CAD software, word processing, email and internet browsers.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD software.
• Proficiency in algebra, geometry and trigonometry.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality instruction and hands-on labs (70%).
• Collaborate to develop and maintain program curriculum (8%).
• Recruit and advise CAD students (5%).
• Engage in professional development to maintain state certification (5%).
• Assess and improve the program to maintain accreditation (5%).
• Participate in service opportunities at department, college, university and community levels (5%).
• Develop relationships with business/industry and employers (2%).
