Clinical/Biochemical Geneticist - Cohen Children’s Medical Center, New Hyde Park, NY
The Cohen Children’s Medical Center at Northwell Health, Division of Medical Genetics and Human Genomics, seeks a Board Certified/Board Eligible Clinical Geneticist with additional certification and/or interest in Biochemical Genetics/Metabolic Disorders to join our team in New York. Our Medical Genetics Division includes Clinical and Biochemical Geneticists, Genetic Counselors, Nurse Practitioners, and Metabolic Nutritionists providing inpatient and outpatient services primarily at Cohen Children’s Medical Center and North Shore University Hospital. We are recognized by New York State as an Inherited Metabolic Disease Treatment Center. We offer opportunities for research, patient care, and teaching the next generation of genetics professionals.
The successful candidate will be a clinician or physician-scientist dedicated to academic medicine. An academic appointment will be based on credentials and experience.
Cohen Children’s Medical Center opened in 1983 as the only hospital in the New York metropolitan area designed exclusively for children.
