The Department of Communicative Disorders and Sciences at the University at Buffalo, The State University of New York, invites applications for a full-time, 12-month, non-tenure-track faculty position in Clinical Audiology. Appointment will be made at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor or Clinical Associate Professor, commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Audiology with at least 2–3 years of post‑grad clinical experience.
• Eligible for ASHA CCC‑A certification.
• Eligible for NY State licensure and NY Hearing Aid Dispensing License.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical education, supervision, and mentorship to Au.D. students.
• Deliver audiologic services with Au.D. students in the UB Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology Clinic and community settings.
• Coordinate off-site clinical placements and clinical education activities.
• Teach graduate‑level coursework within areas of expertise.
• Develop collaborative and interprofessional relationships within UB and the Western New York Community.
• Participate in graduate student research and scholarly activities, as appropriate.
• Contribute to the development of specialty clinics and clinical programming.
• Provide service to the Department, University, Profession, and Community.
