University at Buffalo invites applications for a full-time, 12-month, non-tenure-track Clinical Audiology faculty position at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor or Clinical Associate Professor.

The successful candidate will supervise Au.D. students, provide audiologic services, teach graduate courses, and contribute to clinical programming and scholarly activities within the Department of Communicative Disorders and Sciences.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Audiology with 2–3 years post-graduate clinical experience and 9 months of clinical supervision.
• Eligible for ASHA CCC-A certification.
• Eligible for NY State Licensure and NY State Hearing Aid Dispensing License.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical education, supervision, and mentorship to Au.D. students.
• Provide audiologic services with Au.D. students in UB Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology Clinic and community settings.
• Coordinate off-site clinical placements and clinical education activities.
• Teach graduate-level coursework within areas of expertise.
• Develop collaborative and interprofessional relationships within UB and the Western New York Community.
• Participate in graduate student research and scholarly activities.
• Contribute to the development of specialty clinics and clinical programming.
• Provide service to the Department, University, Profession, and Community.
