Kaiser Permanente in Maryland, Kensington is seeking an audiologist to assess, diagnose, and treat patients with hearing, balance and related disorders. The role includes counseling patients on treatment options and coordinating care with referring physicians.

Responsibilities span evaluating audiologic function, vestibular testing, BPPV management, pediatric assessments, and fitting hearing aids or implants as appropriate; includes documentation and patient education.

Competenze

• Masters degree in audiology with four years of experience OR Au.D. at hire.
• Maryland Audiologist license required; NPI and Basic Life Support (AHA) required.
• New hires must have Au.D. upon hire.

Mansioni

• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with hearing, balance and related disorders.
• Evaluate audiologic function and interpret results; document in medical record.
• Counsel patients on treatment options and coordinate care with ENT or PCP.
• Perform vestibular assessments and BPPV management; refer for vestibular rehab when appropriate.
• Provide counseling on hearing aid options and fittings as needed.
• Enter referrals for hearing aids and manage implantable devices as applicable.
