Johns Hopkins Medicine in Fort Myers, FL seeks an Audiologist to provide quality clinical care within a multidisciplinary team at the hospital and/or outpatient centers. The role covers evaluation, habilitative and rehabilitative audiology services.

Full-time, 40 hours per week; salary is based on equity and experience. Florida licensure is required, ASHA certification must be obtained within 12 months of employment, and a Master's degree is required.

Responsabilidades

• Performs assessment to determine presence or absence of hearing disorders to support medical management.
• Plans and conducts rehabilitative services, selects and monitors amplification devices to maximize auditory access and function.
• Practices family-centered care by partnering with caregivers and patients to encourage participation in the care plan.
• Documents services accurately and timely to reflect patient status and support revenue cycle and continuity of care.
• Shows initiative to improve patient access to care and department financial performance.
• Provides education and mentoring for students, interns, residents, observers, volunteers and staff.
• Develops and implements clinical activities to expand audiology services within the department and hospital system.

Licensed to practice Audiology in Florida
