• Plans and conducts rehabilitative services to treat hearing disorders, including selection and monitoring of amplification devices.
• Practices family-centered care by partnering with caregivers and patients to encourage active participation in the care plan.
• Completes accurate and timely documentation of services to reflect patient status and support revenue cycle and continuity of care.
• Demonstrates initiative to improve patient access to care and contribute to the department’s financial performance.
• Provides education and mentoring for students, interns, residents, observers, volunteers and staff.
• Develops and implements clinical activities to improve or expand audiology services within the department and hospital system.
