An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Clinical Audiologist to provide comprehensive audiological services. In this vital role, you will conduct screenings and diagnostic assessments, deliver rehabilitative care, and engage in teaching within a hospital environment. The primary purpose of the Clinical Audiologist is to be responsible for the delivery of clinical audiological services, including screening and diagnostic assessments of hearing and balance, rehabilitative and counseling activities as well as teaching responsibilities inherent in the hospital setting. The Clinical Audiologist will evaluate referred patients to implement and administer a comprehensive therapeutic intervention.
Master’s or doctoral degree in Audiology required from an accredited program in Audiology. Certificate in Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech and Hearing Association required. Licensed in the State of New Jersey as verified by the Board of Consumer Affairs. License must be maintained in good standing. Minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience preferred. Must meet licensure CEU requirements. Must be CPR certified or complete certification within six (6) months of employment. Must be computer proficient. Bilingual (Spanish, Portuguese, or American Sign Language) is helpful but not required.

Position requires walking 2/3 of the time, sitting 2/3 of the time, use of hands to fingers, handle or feel over 2/3 of the time, reach with hands and arms 1/3 of the time, and talking or hearing 2/3 of the time. Position requires lifting up to 30 lbs up to 2/3 of the time. Position occasionally requires the ability to push wheeled cart over 50 lbs up to 1/3 of the time.
Moderate noise (examples: business office with computers and printers, light traffic). Exposure to blood borne pathogens that require use of personal protective equipment.
