Job summary

UNC Health is seeking a full-time Clinical Audiologist to provide outpatient diagnostic audiology services across the lifespan at multiple locations in North Carolina. The role focuses on assessment, diagnosis, and management of hearing and balance disorders within an academic medical center environment.

This is a full-time (40 hours/week) daytime position offering a $10,000 commitment incentive paid over two years, with opportunities for teaching, research collaboration, and multidisciplinary

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Audiology program.
• Licensed as an Audiologist by the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists.
• BLS within 3 months of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic and advanced diagnostic audiologic evaluations across the lifespan.
• Conduct behavioral, physiologic, and electrophysiologic assessments as clinically indicated.
• Interpret and analyze test results to develop patient-centered treatment recommendations.
• Counsel patients and families regarding hearing loss, communication needs, and management options.
• Collaborate closely with otolaryngologists and other healthcare professionals in the evaluation and management of hearing and balance disorders.
• Participate in student education and clinical training activities as appropriate.
