The ideal candidate has at least one year in an academic medical center and current NC Audiologist licensure, with experience supervising

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Audiology program.
• Licensed Audiologist by the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists.
• BLS certification within 3 months of hire date.
• Audiologist experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic and advanced diagnostic audiologic evaluations across the lifespan.
• Interpret and analyze test results to develop patient-centered treatment plans.
• Counsel patients and families on hearing loss, its impact, and management strategies.
• Manage the ongoing needs of hearing aid and cochlear implant users, including programming, troubleshooting, and follow-up care.
• Conduct verification of hearing aid fittings using best-practice technology.
• Administer comprehensive cochlear implant evaluations and determine candidacy for implantable technologies.
• Counsel patients on implantable technology options, function, and expectations.
• Program and manage all available implantable devices in the adult population.
