The role includes cochlear implant evaluations, fitting of hearing aids, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, with opportunities for teaching and research. Salary ranges from $90,000 to $115,000+, commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) or equivalent degree.
• Eligible for Maryland and DC audiology licensure prior to start date.
• Minimum of one year of post-graduate clinical experience preferred; new graduates with cochlear implant interest welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive diagnostic testing for pediatric and adult populations.
• Conduct comprehensive audiologic evaluations for all ages.
• Provide pre-operative/post-operative cochlear implant evaluations, programming and rehab.
• Dispense, fit and adjust hearing aids and related devices with verification/validation measures.
• Interpret results and communicate findings clearly to patients, families and referring providers.
• Collaborate with otolaryngologists, SLPs and other clinicians for coordinated care.
• Document patient care in the EMR per Johns Hopkins standards.
• Participate in quality improvement, clinical research and educational initiatives.
