The 9-month contract includes the option to work in summer as the nursing program is offered year-round. Positions are available at our Tyler campus. • Primary teaching responsibilities in a nationally accredited graduate nursing program
• Maintaining active PMHNP practice in congruence with UT Tyler’s policies

Required Qualifications

• Doctorate in Nursing in a nationally accredited graduate nursing program
• PMHNP certification with at least two (2) years of experience as a PMHNP
• Licensure in Texas
• Evidence of program of scholarship

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate teaching experience.

The retirement plan for this position is Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS), subject to the position being at least 20 hours per week and at least 135 days in length. This position has the option to elect the Optional Retirement Program (ORP) instead of TRS, subject to the position being 40 hours per week and at least 135 days in length.
