Job summary

The University of Chicago’s Department of Medicine, Section of Hematology/Oncology, seeks full-time oncologists for appointments as Clinical Associates for renewable terms of up to three years. These clinicians will provide outpatient care at the new cancer center and satellite locations in northwest Indiana, with no teaching obligations required.

Compensation is dependent upon qualifications and the positions are benefits-eligible, with a comprehensive benefits program offered.

Qualifications

• Medical doctorate or equivalent required.
• Current or eligible medical licensure in Illinois and Indiana.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Oncology.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient oncology care at the university's cancer center and NW Indiana satellite sites.
• Manage oncology patients in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams; positions are renewable for up to three years.

Clinical responsibilities will include seeing outpatients at the University of Chicago's new state-of-the-art cancer center and micro hospital in northwest Indiana and affiliated satellite locations in northwest Indiana.

These positions do not require teaching or scholarly activity.

Compensation is dependent upon qualifications.
