Job summary

The University of Chicago's Department of Medicine, Section of Hematology/Oncology, and the University of Chicago Medicine Comprehensive Cancer Center seek full-time faculty members at any rank on the School of Medicine track who specialize in breast cancer treatment.

Appointees will have regular clinic sessions at our Hyde Park campus and possible network locations, and will contribute to teaching and scholarly activity.

Qualifications

• Medical doctorate or equivalent.
• Eligible for Illinois medical licensure; Indiana licensure eligibility.
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Oncology.
• Experience in breast cancer treatment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-time faculty duties including patient care and teaching.
• Supervise trainees and students.
• Engage in clinical research and scholarly activity.

Job description

The University of Chicago's Department of Medicine, Section of Hematology/Oncology, and the University of Chicago Medicine Comprehensive Cancer Center seek full-time faculty members at any rank on the School of Medicine track who specialize in breast cancer treatment. Appointees will have regular clinic sessions at our Hyde Park campus and possible network locations and attend inpatient services. Other duties will include the teaching and supervision of trainees and students, as well as clinical research and scholarly activity. Academic rank and compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) is dependent upon qualifications. This position is benefits-eligible. Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must:
