Job summary

The University of Chicago Medicine seeks Clinical Associates to deliver high-quality anesthesia care at multiple sites, including the main Hyde Park campus and affiliated facilities. These roles require a medical doctorate, licensure eligibility in IL/IN, and BC/BE in anesthesiology.

Positions are 100% effort with renewable terms and a comprehensive fringe benefits package. Teaching is not required, but CME/education access is provided where schedule allows.

Job description

Description The University of Chicago's Department of Anesthesia and Critical Care seeks Clinical Associates at 100% effort for renewable terms of up to three years.

Clinical responsibilities will include general anesthesia and non-operating room anesthesia environments at the University of Chicago Medicine including, but not limited to Ingalls Memorial, Crown Point Indiana, and or main campus in Hyde Park. These positions do not require teaching or scholarly activity.

Compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) is dependent on qualifications. This position is benefits-eligible. Clinical Associates will have access to the University of Chicago and the Department of Anesthesia & Critical Care resources including, but not limited to, educational conferences and CME activities as the clinical schedule allows.

Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois and the State of Indiana, and 3) be BC/BE or equivalent in anesthesiology.
