Beth Israel Lahey Health's Winchester Hospital seeks a Clinical Associate to support patient care on a per diem basis. Under RN direction, you will assist with daily living activities, monitor patients, and help ensure safety and comfort across shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Requirements include CNA certification, BLS, a high school diploma, and completion of Winchester Hospital's Clinical Associate Training Program (CATP).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS Basic Life Support certification required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) required.
• Nursing student with completion of one medical-surgical clinical rotation.
• Three months of clinical care experience required.
• Successful completion of Winchester Hospital: Clinical Associate Training Program (CATP).

• Assisting in transporting patients, beds, supplies and equipment
• Collecting, labeling and transporting specimens
• Retrieving and signing out blood products

• Removes Foley catheters and saline locks

Schedule

per diem, various shifts, including weekend and holiday rotations

Working under the direction of a nurse, the Clinical Associate contributes to the Hospital’s mission by performing basic procedures necessary to provide patients’ care, comfort, and safety. This clinical staff position will have an impact on the quality of care and patient satisfaction by providing for their physical and emotional needs.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with activities of daily living
• Repositioning and ambulating patients

Education Required

Pay Range

Pay Range: $19.50 - $26.24The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time.
