Job summary

Winchester Hospital, part-time Clinical Associate, is a key member of the nursing support team.

Under a nurse's direction, you will help with activities of daily living, patient transport, and specimen handling to support patient care and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• CNA or nursing student with clinical rotation and CATP completion preferred.
• Three months of clinical care experience.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living.
• Reposition and ambulate patients.
• Make occupied and unoccupied beds.
• Transport patients, beds, supplies and equipment.
• Collect, label and transport specimens.
• Retrieve and sign out blood products.
• Perform point-of-care testing accurately.
• Obtain vital signs and weights.
• Maintain intake and output measurements.
• Remove Foley catheters and saline locks.
