Job summary

Winchester Hospital is seeking a Clinical Associate for 24 hours per week on day shifts. Under supervision, you will support patient care by assisting with daily living activities, repositioning patients, and performing essential tasks to ensure safety and comfort.

The role requires completion of a CATP or equivalent clinical experience, with a High School diploma preferred. BLS certification is mandated, and basic computer skills are valued in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/equivalent strongly preferred.
• BLS certification required (must have).
• Must have/be one of: Certified Nursing Assistant; Nursing student with clinical rotation; three months of clinical care experience; completion of CATP.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living.
• Reposition and ambulate patients.
• Make beds (occupied and unoccupied).
• Assist in transporting patients, beds, supplies and equipment.
• Collect, label and transport specimens; retrieve and sign out blood products.
• Perform point-of-care testing; obtain vital signs and weights.
• Remove Foley catheters and saline locks.
