Job description

Position Description
Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine seeks applicants for a full-time non-tenure track position in the Department of Periodontology at the Clinical Assistant Professor level. This position requires applicant must have a DDS/DMD degree (or foreign equivalent), completed advanced training in a CODA approved periodontology program in the US with teaching and/or private practice experience, and be eligible for full or limited dental licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Responsibilities
Your duties will include:

  1. Supervising and teaching periodontology residents and implantology fellows in a clinical setting at the Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine;
  2. Conducting literature reviews seminars as instructed by the senior faculty;
  3. Participating in clinical research as needed;
  4. Participating in the didactic teaching for the program;
  5. Participate in training of Master’s students;
  6. Other duties as may be assigned by the Department Chair from time to time.

Required Skills

Requirements:
- DDS/DMD degree (or equivalent)
- Completed advanced training in periodontology post-graduate residency training from a U.S. accredited school
- Applicants must be eligible for full or limited dental licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts

Preferred Qualifications:
- Board Certification
- Prior teaching experience
