The St. David’s School of Nursing at Texas State University is seeking a clinical nursing faculty at the Clinical Assistant Professor or Clinical Associate Professor level for a nine-month appointment with summer employment. This position will serve as the Standardized Patient Coordinator for the Simulation Laboratories (50% effort) and as a clinical faculty member (50% effort).
The Standardized Patient Coordinator will manage the standardized patient program, including recruiting, training, scheduling, and evaluating standardized patients. The role supports the expansion of simulation labs and enhances clinical learning experiences through simulation and training programs.
Rank and salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. Responsibilities include curriculum development and teaching in undergraduate clinical areas, primarily in simulation labs. The position is based in the nursing building on the Texas State University Round Rock Campus in Round Rock, Texas.
