Position Summary

The Division of Radiologic Science is recruiting for a fixed‑term faculty appointment at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor or Clinical Associate Professor.

Primary Responsibilities

• Teach upper‑division undergraduate degree courses related to professional communication, leadership, research, medicolegal issues, and master’s level research courses.
• Play an active role in leadership in the Division of Radiologic Science as specified with the Department Chair.
• Serve as Curriculum Director for the master’s degree program.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Division Director or assumed role as Division Director.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

• Doctoral degree related to administration, healthcare, research, public health, or informatics; applicants nearing completion of doctoral degree may be considered.
• Graduate of an accredited medical imaging program (JRCERT or JRCDMS).
• Certification in radiography by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or certification in sonography by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography.

Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience

• Prior teaching experience in a baccalaureate medical imaging program.
• Record of leadership positions in academia, healthcare, or industry.
• Prior administrative experience.
• Publication and presentation record at the state, regional, and national level.
• Interest in artificial intelligence, imaging informatics, global health, or abroad opportunities for faculty and students.
• Active participation in professional societies (JRCERT/JRCDMS, ARRT/ARDMS, ASRT/SDMS).
