The Keck School of Medicine (KSOM) of USC and Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA), in the Department of Anesthesiology Critical Care Medicine, are seeking a full-time faculty member as an Attending in Pediatric Anesthesiology at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology (Clinician Educator). Academic rank will depend on training and achievement.

The department handles nearly 20,000 anesthetics annually, including over 1,000 cardiac cases, and manages over 2,400 ICU admissions. CHLA is a leading, top-ranked academic children's hospital located on Sunset Blvd in Hollywood, offering comprehensive pediatric care and excellent educational opportunities. The hospital has its own research foundation and is among the top five children's hospitals receiving federal funding.

This position is ideal for a fellowship-trained pediatric anesthesiologist interested in an academic career. The department emphasizes clinical service, research, and teaching postgraduate trainees in Pediatric Anesthesiology. The candidate should have a strong interest in leadership roles in Graduate Medical Education, Abdominal Organ Transplantation, and Pediatric Pain Medicine. Experience in these areas is advantageous. Candidates must have completed an ACGME-accredited pediatric anesthesiology fellowship and be board certified or attain certification within one year of hire.
