New York University’s Steinhardt School invites applications for up to four (4) continuing contract (non-tenure track) Clinical Assistant Professors in the Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness MA Program, to begin on September 1, 2027.

The appointed faculty members will be part of the Department of Applied Psychology, teaching across a 60-credit MA program with an emphasis on cultural humility and social justice, in both residential and online formats.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or Counselor Education.
• Eligible for licensure to practice in New York; current licensure preferred.
• At least two years of clinical experience in mental health settings; at least two semesters of teaching experience.

Responsabilités

• Teach six courses across the fall and spring semesters.
• Contribute to program and curricular development.
• Advise and mentor graduate students; participate in service to the program and department.
