The Indiana University School of Dentistry invites applications for a full-time Clinical Assistant Professor in Community Engagement. Regular travel within Indiana is required. Responsibilities include coordinating CBDE rotations, directing CBDE courses, and developing community partnerships to enhance student learning

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD from a CODA-accredited program.
• Eligibility for licensure in Indiana.
• Experience in community-based dental education or public health practice.
• Experience coordinating community-based educational or student rotation activities.
• Experience collaborating with clinical partners and community organizations.
• Scholarly or professional activities in community engagement or public health.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate CBDE student rotations, community-based experiences, and service-learning activities.
• Provide instruction and direct CBDE courses and curriculum including student assessment.
• Support development and maintenance of community clinical sites and external partners.
• Contribute to didactic, community-based, and service-learning activities in Dental Public Health.
• Mentor predoctoral and graduate students in community-based and public health activities.
• Develop and disseminate community-engaged scholarship and program evaluation results.
• Participate in institutional service at department, school, and university levels.
• Collaborate with community organizations and public health agencies to support educational experiences.
