Description

The Clinical Assistant Professor should be prepared to contribute to the academic and clinical missions of the department, participating in resident medical student, and undergraduate training and education. This university based full-time academic faculty position requires Level 1 Hand Call, participation in resident/fellow didactics, and research mentorship for young learners.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • MD or DO Degree (or foreign equivalent).
  • Board Eligible/Board Certified in Orthopedics.
  • Fellowship training in Hand Surgery.
  • Eligible for licensure in New York State.
Special Notes

Tenure/Non-Tenure Track position. FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA. To qualify for tenured faculty appointment, the candidate must meet the criteria established by the School of Medicine (School of Medicine's Criteria for Appointment, Promotion and Tenure).
