Job summary

Mammoth Hospital in the United States is seeking an Orthopedic Clinical Assistant to support clinic providers and nurses in patient treatment, including emergent and primary care for all ages. This role emphasizes compassionate, organized, and collaborative teamwork in a busy hospital setting.

You will take vital signs, assist with rooming and patient preparation, support minor surgery setup, and perform basic lab procedures while ensuring accurate specimen handling and timely lab results

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• State of California Certified Nurse Assistant, Medical Assistant, or Emergency Medical Technician (State or National) certification required.
• American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Take the vital signs on all patients including: BP, HR, R, O2 sat.
• Take the Height and Weight, and the level of pain on patients.
• Responsible for the patient flow in the clinic, rooming and preparing the patient to be seen by the provider.
• Assist the providers with minor surgery set up, and specimen preparation.
• Responsible to complete minor lab procedures, including the collection of specimens both urine and blood, and also be responsible for the routing of lab results to the correct provider.

They will maintain effective interaction with the public and hospital personnel.

Job Information:

• Full-time, day shifts at our Mammoth location.
• Starting wage $24.66 to $29.89 based on qualifications.
