Clinical Assistant or Associate Professor, Stroke Division, Department of Neurology

Position Title Clinical Assistant or Associate Professor, Stroke Division, Department of Neurology

The Department of Neurology, University at Buffalo Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences is seeking to recruit a Vascular Neurology faculty member at the Assistant/Associate or Professor level. Candidate should be BE/BC in Neurology and ACGME Fellowship trained in Vascular Neurology and will join the Vascular Neurology Division at Buffalo General Hospital.

Duties will include:


  • Clinical responsibilities will be devoted to coverage of the inpatient stroke service housed at Buffalo General Medical Center and Gates Vascular Institute.
  • Provide bedside and didactic teaching of neurology residents and fellows as well as medical students rotating on the stroke service.
  • Pursue clinical research interests including participation in stroke studies underway or commencing through the UB Dept. of Neurology.
