Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Medical field education at a technical college or equivalent is preferred.
• WA Medical Assistant – Registered (MA-R) licensure preferred or must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
• Current CPR certification preferred or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• One year clinical and/or medical office experience required or equivalent education/experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patient for examination by gathering patient vitals and escorting to exam room.
• Updates and documents patient's current medications and health history.
• Provides instruction and education to patients on medical questions and procedures.
• Documents all patient care encounters accurately and on time.
• Maintains exam rooms, cleansing between patients and restocking as needed.
