Job summary

RAYUS Radiology in Minnesota is seeking a Clinic Assistant - Float to help maintain patient flow across our sites. The role involves greeting patients, taking medical histories, measuring vitals, and supporting care plans under provider orders.

The position requires travel to Burnsville, Edina, Shakopee, and other centers within the market. This full-time, Monday–Friday role offers 8-hour shifts from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, with DailyPay available and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• One or more years direct care experience.
• CNA, EMT, or CMA program diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Greet and room patients.
• Interview patients to obtain medical history and measure vital signs.
• Instruct patients on care plan and discharge instructions.
• Instruct patients on proper collection of urine specimens.
• Process and maintain integrity of all specimens.
• Document in patient chart or electronic medical record.
• Obtain additional medical records as necessary.
• Stock and clean exam room; maintain inventory of medications and supplies.
• Other tasks as assigned.

The pay range for this position is $17.14-$24.78 based on direct and relevant experience. RAYUS Radiology is looking for a Clinic Assistant - Float to join our team. As a Clinic Assistant - Float, you will maintain the flow of a patient office by performing delegated medical functions in accordance with practice guidelines. Travel to all RAYUS locations within the market may be required to meet patient care needs.

This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday between the hours of 7:00am- 5:00pm (8-hour shifts) routinely traveling to Burnsville, Edina and Shakopee. Travel to other centers in St. Louis Park, Woodbury, Plymouth, and Blaine as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

50% Patient Care

• Greet and room patients
• Interview patients to obtain medical history and measure their vital signs for the office visit.
• Instruct patients on care plan and discharge instructions per provider's orders.
• Instruct patients on proper collection of urine specimens.
• Process and maintain integrity of all specimens according to established protocol.
• Document in patient chart or electronic medical record according to established protocol.
• Obtain additional medical records for patient's appointment as necessary.

45% Administrative Support

• Stock and clean exam room per Clinic and Infection Control Policy.
• Maintain inventory of medications and supplies.

5% Other tasks as assigned.

Required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• One of more years direct care experience
• Certificate Nursing Assistant (CNA), Emergency Medicine Technician (EMT); or diploma or equivalent from an accredited Medical Assistant (CMA) program.

Preferred:

• Preferred experience/degree/credential 1
