Job summary

MercyOne Genesis Davenport Medical Center in Davenport, IA is hiring a Clinical Assistant, ER to join the Emergency Care Center - East and Bettendorf ED. You will assist in the provision of care, monitor rhythms under RN supervision, and support care standards.

Full time night shift (3rd shift 7pm–7:30am), schedule 36 hours per week with every other weekend. Requires CNA/MA/EMT licensure and Basic Life Support; EKG/Phlebotomy experience preferred. High school diploma required.

Qualifications

• Licensure/Registration: CNA, Medical Assistant, completion of a Military training course as a Medical Assistant, Nursing Assistant, or EMT/Basic.
• Special Training: Basic Life Support.
• Training Preferred: EKG/Phlebotomy experience.
• No experience required.

As a Clinical Assistant, ER at MercyOne, you will participate in the provision of care, monitors cardiac rhythms under the supervision of the Registered Nurse and supports the philosophies and standards of Genesis Medical Center.

Position Title: Clinical Assistant, ER
Department: Emergency Care Center - East and Bettendorf ED

Schedule:

• 3rd shift (7pm - 7:30 am)
• Full Time .9 (36 hours per week)
• Every other weekend scheduling cadence - Saturday, Sunday

General Requirements

• Licensure/Registration: CNA, Medical Assistant, completion of a Military training course as a Medical Assistant, Nursing Assistant, or Emergency Medical Technician/Basic
• Special Training: Basic Life Support
• Training Preferred: EKG/Phlebotomy experience
• No experience required

Education:

• High school graduation or equivalent
