The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the Keck School of Medicine seeks an outstanding, academically-oriented candidate with expertise in gastrointestinal and liver pathology for a 50% faculty position. The department aims to meet the growing diagnostic needs of medical and transplant programs in these areas. The successful candidate will participate in medical student teaching and train residents and fellows in the Department of Pathology and the Divisions of Gastroenterology and Hepatology in the Department of Medicine.
Applicants must be Board Eligible/Board Certified in Anatomic Pathology with fellowship training in GI and/or liver pathology. Additional expertise in pancreatobiliary or transplant pathology is desirable.
Appointment will be in the Clinical or Clinical Scholar series. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications.
The annual base salary range for this position is $250,000-$350,000. When extending an offer, USC considers factors such as the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate’s experience, education, skills, internal peer equity, legal and contractual considerations, grant funding, and external market conditions.
